CASA Volunteer (Court Appointed Special Advocate)

Description: CASA Volunteers give abused and neglected children hope by visiting with them twice each month, communicating with other professionals including Social Services Case Workers, Attorneys, teachers, family members and more, and speaking up for them in court making sure their needs and wishes are heard. Today, over 600 children in Denver alone are in need of a CASA volunteer. Stand up for a child. Be their voice. Become a CASA!

Requirements for volunteers: 21+, must pass a background check, 18-month commitment.

Instructions for Registering for this Opportunity: Our next training will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning Tuesday, October 14th. Training is held 5 times each hear. Email or call Emily Thomas to request an application and to schedule an interview.
