Tutor a Child in Reading

Description: Tutor one child, one hour a week and make a difference in that child's life. No prior teaching or tutoring experience is required. Training is provided (in person or online) in the highly effective Peak Reader curricula, and a trained site coordinator is always available during the tutoring sessions. Join Children's Literacy Center in the fight against illiteracy, One Child At a Time!

Tutoring is held every Saturday, 10:15 a.m. - 11:15 p.m.

Requirements for volunteers: Must be at least 14 years of age

Must also clear background check which is $10.00

Required to complete training either in person or online
